RBI's MNRL Guidelines for Business Compliance
Everything you need to know about RBI’s MNRL and Customer Complaint Compliance Rules - Stay Compliant with RBI’s Mobile Number Revocation List (MNRL) guidelines, it highlights the important information related to commercial communications and customer complaint registration.
- Customers can block all commercial communications or selectively block communications according to their preferences via the Telecom Service Provider’s App/Website, TRAI DND App, or by calling/SMS to ‘1909’.
- Please note, WEIPL or WIPL will contact you for any service calls using the numbering series 1600XXX and 1400XXX for promotional calls.
Process for registering complaints in the following areas -
- In case of receiving spam despite registering on DND - Make a DND complaint at the respective Telecom Service Provider’s App/Website, TRAI DND App, or call/SMS to ‘1909’.
- In case of receiving suspected fraudulent communication - Report any suspected fraud communication received within the last 30 days on the ‘Chakshu’ platform of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) at Chakshu Platform.
- If fraud/cyber crime has already occurred - If you have lost money due to financial fraud or are a victim of cyber crime, please report to the cyber-crime helpline number ‘1930’ or visit the Cyber Crime Website.
